This unique foundation supports innovative independent research by scientific, medical and public health experts to make discoveries that will improve long-term mortality, enhance longevity, and promote healthier lives.

The Longer Life Foundation’s mission is to study factors that assist in predicting mortality and morbidity of selected populations and to research methods to promote improvements in longevity and health by analyzing the effects of changes in medicine and advances in public health practices.
The Longer Life Center
Washington University in St. Louis's Longer Life Center was established in 2000 to support research and scholarly activity related to the mission and goals of the Longer Life Foundation.
